It's not designed to be a videographer tool, but if you want to do anything more advanced than add clips, this isn't the software for you. Limited power features: While the basic-level features of Ephnic Movie Maker are incredibly accessible, the functionality doesn't stretch too far beyond those basics. This alone makes it a strong entry for video creation and editing, especially if you have any Windows files or recordings you want to use. Wide range of support: In our tests, we were able to import and add a range of different audio and video formats, including some not supported by Apple's iMovie. For basic home-movie management, it doesn't get any easier. There is a single Build Movie button at the top and a drop-down menu with options for uploading directly to YouTube or Facebook. There are top-level menus to select and drag-drop images, videos, audio, and effects into the timeline at the bottom.
